Hi, I’m Tiziana and three things you should know about me are my love for books, writing and travelling. At the end of 2019, I quit my 9-5 job to move to the other side of the world – to Chile! Since then my life has taken a 180-degree turn. Instead of being a marketing manager in the finance department, I am now a freelance book editor and author of romance and crime novels. My debut novel Escape the Ordinary is about finding happiness in our fast-paced social media world.
In this blog, I share my own experiences about my oversea life as an expat and mindful living. From Chile I moved to France and now I´m living with my partner in Amsterdam. Just as diverse as my own life, is each of my books set in a different place in the world.
Even before I discovered writing for myself, I always wanted to be a book editor. Yes, I’m one of the few authors who haven’t written from an early age. In elementary school I borrowed books from the library to retype and edit them. Ever since I was a child, it has always been my dream to become a book editor. As a trained marketing manager with a master’s degree in literature and a two-year research project regarding the change in the stationary book market, I am very familiar with the current trends and developments in the book industry. Only a few things bring me more joy than finding potential in a story and helping writers turn their ideas into a book. If you also need support in realizing your story or would like to exchange ideas about writing, please write to me on Instagram or check out the website of The Author Edit.
