Yes you read right, I am moving again. Just 5 months ago I moved to the other side of the world to finally live together with my long-distance boyfriend in Chile. Now our living together will come to an end earlier than expected.. But no worries we didn´t break up, we actually got some really exciting news to share. Even though I loved living in Santiago de Chile and really liked our apartment and all the amazing people I met, we decided that it´s time for a another fresh start. But this time we will face it together.
We will move to Paris for a year
My boyfriend will study in his MBA in Paris and we are both super excited about this new phase in our lives. I´m sure I will miss my chilean life and friends a lot, but at the same time I´m so happy that I will be a bit closer to my family again as it´s not such a big distance between france and germany. I really really miss especially my nieces a lot, which are growing up so quickly so I´m glad well be able to see each other more often. Still this isn´t even the biggest news yet, cause there is even more to tell. Although the uni isn´t starting before mid august, we decided to leave Chile already in a few days.
The world is our home
For the next 5 months the world will be our home and we will travel around the globe with our backpacks. It seems like the perfect timing for a work-break and we were both dreaming about a longer travel trip from since our first date. I still can´t believe the time has finally come and we really booked the first flight to our first destination. As sustainability is still a really important topic for me we will use buses and train rides as often as possible and plan to only fly on the big distances.
One last secret
So now that my little secret came out, what do you guys think about it? Are you as excited as me about all the travel content that I will share with you guys on the next months?

Liebe Tiziana, das sind ja gleich eine Menge wunderbarer Neuigkeiten – Paris, eine ganz tolle Stadt mit einem ganz besonderen Flair, wo ihr euer neues Zuhause aufschlagt. Ich kann mir auch gut vorstellen, wie schön es für dich ist, dann wieder näher bei deiner Familie und bei deinen Nichten zu leben – da auch von unserer Familie ein Mitglied berufsbedingt im ferneren Ausland, nämlich in Japan lebt, haben wir diesbezüglich auch schon einige Erfahrungen sammeln können. Zur „Golden Week“ war ursprünglich ein Besuch ins Auge gefasst gewesen, aber aufgrund der derzeitigen Reiseeinschränkungen wegen des Corona-Virus müssen wir jetzt natürlich noch abwarten, wie sich die Situation weiterentwickelt. Eine Weltreise ist natürlich etwas ganz Besonderes und es bietet sich bei euch für diesen Zeitraum auch perfekt an – ich finde es immer total interessant, andere Länder, andere Kulturen und die Lebensweisen der verschiedenen Menschen kennenzulernen. Immer wieder können wir doch dabei auch für unsere Leben etwas mitnehmen. Jetzt bin ich natürlich schon total gespannt, welche Länder bei euch auf dem Plan stehen und freue mich total, wenn wir euch auf diesem Abenteuer begleiten dürfen.

Hallo liebe Gesa, danke für deine lieben Worte 🙂 Der Virus macht das Reisen leider im Moment tatsächlich schwierig, aber ich bleibe optimistisch (und natürlich vorsichtig) und hoffe noch von so einigen tollen Orten berichten zu können. Nach Japan wollte ich eigentlich in 2 Wochen auch, mal sehen was die Zukunft bringt 😉
